Titan sponsored racing team AJ Racing will run in ten rounds of the British Sprint Championship and the Hill Climb and Sprint Association Speed Championship, after a successful season of running in Time Attack.
Established in 2012 by Jon and Alison Morris, AJ Racing was set up to provide injured servicemen and women an opportunity to participate in motorsport, aiding their recovery through friendly competition.
Since then, the team has gone from strength to strength, competing in Time Attack during the 2015 season, running a Titan LSD, as well as a Duratec engine built by Burton Power fitted with a Titan Dry Sump Kit and Titan Throttle Bodies.
The change to the Sprints and Hill Climbs will enable the team to increase the number of events they attend, as well as achieve greater exposure for the team and the opportunity to develop the car further.
Unlocking the potential of the AJ Racing Ford Focus ST170 has been a main aim of the team, as well as the great charitable work that they have undertaken to raise money and support injured servicemen and women. This change in championships supports both of these objectives, and Titan wishes AJ Racing all the best in the 2016 Season.
“It has been great supporting AJ Racing over the past couple of years, they are a great team to work with and in addition to their racing, provide such great support to others also” said Zoe Timbrell, Marketing Manager.
