To support our ever expanding team, we are currently recruiting the below positions:
Reporting to the Senior Design Engineer, the role will require a self-motivated individual to help develop a busy motorsport design office.
You will be required to complete a variety of mechanical design projects from concept through to prototype assembly and further development.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Mechanical Engineering, minimum of four years using 3D modelling software and design for manufacture prefereably with a motorsport background.
Experience of FEA or CFD simulation would be advantageous.
The successful candidate will require good problem solving skills, willingness to learn and be able to work on their own intiaitive as well as part of the team.
CNC Milling Setter/Operator - to work on our nightshift (4x nights - Monday -Thursday inclusive)
The successful applicant will intially work on days in order to familiarise themselves with our machines, products and quality procedures.
They must have previous experience of working in a similar environment and be able to set and operate CNC milling machines to high standards using a Fanuc based control system.
They should be fully familiar with the use of standard measuring equipment and be able to work to maintain the highest quality standards,
Experience of working with castings would prove an advantage although is not essential.
An intial hourly day rate will apply, depending on experience, with a shift allowance applied once the transition to nights is made.
Skilled CNC Turner
Ideally with twin spindle/live tooling experience.
Must be able to program/set/operate to the high standards required using a Fanuc control system.
A proven track record working in a similar environment making precision turned parts is essential.
