AJ Racing was established in 2012 by Jon and Alison Morris. With Jon’s ties to the Black Watch Army Regiment the team’s aim was to provide injured servicemen and women an opportunity to participate in motorsport and aid their recovery through some friendly competition.
The team participate in the UK Time Attack Championship, a series which originated in Japan and has been captivating petrol heads and modification enthusiasts of the UK since 2006. The goal being to set the quickest lap time on one given day.
Titan are perfectly placed to supply aftermarket performance parts and were keen to support a worthy cause. As a result Titan supplied the team with an LSD and through a deal with one of Titans distributors, Burton Power, throttle bodies and a dry sump kit were also provided.
The final round of the Championship was held at Rockingham Speedway last month where Jonathan managed to qualify the car in 7th. Despite not taking the chequered flag due to technical issues the team finished in a respectable 6th position.

The team will be returning to the series next year with a great first full season under their belt and looking forward to using the knowledge that they’ve gained throughout the past season.
