Introduction
As well as operating a sophisticated machine shop with 5 axis capabilities, Titan are specialists in vehicle steering. We produce simple mechanical rack and pinion systems as well as hydraulically and electrically powered steering solutions. We also supply sophisticated technology actuators for autonomous vehicles. We design and build all aspects of the mechanical, hydraulic and electronics for prototypes vehicles, for performance applications, and for OEM’s production requirements.
The role
To be part of our dynamic and busy sales team reporting to the Sales Director this role will be responsible for promoting our technology capability with prospective partners and clients. Ensuring our reputation for exceptional customer service is maintained and our revenue stream continues to grow. To be specifically responsible for development of the sales pipeline for our technology revenue stream along with the management of the relationship with Titan’s large OEM and Tier 1 accounts.
Activities
- Proactively develop profitable new business opportunities for our scientific business stream.
- Build a pipeline of clients through networking in the appropriate fields of innovation and investment in electric vehicle enhancement.
- Manage the full end to end sales cycle from identification through to closure, then developed further into account managed and up-selling.
- Develop, construct and implement account plans, aligned to the business plan.
- Being responsive within agreed timeframes to all enquiries and establish strong trusted relationships.
- Have a focus on profitable growth as a key element to our strategy.
- Organise, lead, and manage regular meetings as agreed with other departments or key individuals in the business to ensure capture of all opportunities and issues to enable accurate forecasting
- Represent Titan at shows and exhibitions, business ventures, or conferences as requested
The person
- Strong technical know-how coupled with a good network in the electric vehicle space (Preferably gained in automotive or motorsport)
- Experience in seeking out opportunities by offering quality engineering solutions and projects
- Proven focus on delivery of exceptional customer service working with the relevant internal expertise to ensure projects are scoped, agreed and set up in a profitable manner.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good PC/database/CRM experience
- Strong organisation/ time management skills.
- Willingness to travel to visit customers/exhibitions as required
- A client-driven mindset coupled with a team work ethic.
