Would you like to join a specialist manufacturer of precision engineered components for the motorsport, automotive, marine, defence and aerospace sectors?

How about joining an organisation whose clients include some of the most prominent British sports car manufacturers?

Are you a driven, experienced, skilled CNC Milling Machine Programmer / Setter, able to program, set and operate CNC milling machines in order to manufacture high quality, precision machined components?

Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit CNC Milling Machine Programmer / Setters to support our expanding and busy workshop.

As an addition to our existing core skill, you will be a key figure in our production team.  As the business develops, opportunities for you to progress and take on new responsibilities will evolve.

The main purpose of the role is to machine components from a range of raw materials to the exacting standards of the engineering drawing supplied.  Components should be manufactured utilising the relevant measuring equipment and by following the company’s Quality Management and Health and Safety procedures, ensuring quality and timely manufacture.

Essential Requirements:

  • Capable of Programming and Editing CNC “G” code programs
  • Familiar with Haas / Fanuc or similar control systems
  • 4 or 5 axis CNC Milling experience
  • Setting and operating CNC Milling machines to the highest quality standards
  • Knowledge of cutting tool application
  • Problem solving abilities
  • Familiar with industry standard inspection methods
  • Working to tight tolerances
  • Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances
  • Machining components from a wide variety of raw materials, including castings
  • Capable of working independently to the highest quality standards
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to follow works instruction
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Time management skills
  • Team ethic.

About Our Company:

We are a forward thinking and diverse company, with plans to expand the business over the next 5 – 10 years. We have developed from a company producing single seater racing cars into the engineering business it is today, supplying the motorsport and automotive industries and has just celebrated its 40th year in business. Titan also has design, production engineering and clean assembly facilities to support the workshop.

Additional salary information: Salary dependent upon experience, weekly paid, overtime is paid at time and a half when available.
