CNC Miller - Skilled

The Role

To program, set and operate CNC milling machines in order to manufacture high quality, precision machined components.

Activities

To machine components from a range of raw materials to the exacting standards of the engineering drawing supplied.  Components should be manufactured utilising the relevant measuring equipment and by following the company’s Quality Management and Health and Safety procedures ensuring quality, timely manufacture.

The Person

  • Experience within a precision engineering environment, programming, setting and operating a CNC milling machine with Haas or Fanuc based CNC control.  Must be able to read an engineering drawing and use all relevant measurement equipment.

  • Experience using a 5th axis and machining castings.

  • Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship.

  • Desired - Maths GCSE.
